| Did you every play on an electric Drum Set? | | Since I've no possibility to buy an accoustic set, because I have no room to put it, I decided to buy an electronic drum kit. I'm using the Roland TD-20. Compared with an accoustic drum set I have many advantages... I can play at any day and night time, without disturbing neighbours, I've about 50 different drum kits I can choose from depending of what music style I wanna play. I can define any kind of cymbals, toms, snares etc. And last but not least, it's very easy to record it since you just plug in one single cable to the mixing board and you have the perfect drum sound.Even I love to play on accoustic sets, the E-drums gave me completly new opportunities. What are you guys thinking about it? | |
| | Eletric drums - You have any experience? | | I'm always looking for new additions into my "home studio" and since I live in a flat, I can't play acoustic drums at home. I was thinking about buying a electric drum set, probably Roland TD3 or TD6. As I see it TD3 and TF6 are pretty much the same except for the "brain" unit. So, if you guys have any knowledge about these sets or maybe from some other manufacturer like Yamaha, could you be so nice and tell me what you know about them? | |
| | New Music Here! | | Hi. I'm a musician and I spend loads of time writing and recording my own music. I play everything in my songs and produce it all myself. Now I just want someone to listen to it!If your interested, just look up "Andy Bates" on Itunes and you'll find an album called "Slight Miscalculation". I hope you like it.Sorry to plug like this but it seemed like a good idea!I also have a video (yes just the one at the moment I'm afraid! - it's not letting me load anything at the moment) on You Tube of me playing my electric drums. Thanks a lot for reading!! - And post me any comments | |
