A noisy person may as well be associated with a clanging cymbal basically because when struck without rhythm and by itself, the cymbal can produce an irritating noise. But without the cymbals, the drumset will just produce all booms and deep tones without the high notes. The cymbals are wonderful instruments in making a complete sound, especially for music played by a band.
