Bongos are small drums attached to each other and are usually played together with their bigger relatives—the congas. All of them are played with the nimble use of the hands and are associated with Latin party music. Whenever there is an island theme to a party, there would always be bongos and congas present. Bongos complete the percussion music with its eighth note sound.
